H27 is the real name(h20,25,27)and the book SM cover this.as does,mitchells and most other online rags.it's not hard to find , you never searched here, ive answered in depth here, many times, on the H engines. and J engines,the pump is buried deep, and is a ROYAL PITA. job.here ill answer 2 ways again. just like last time.the factory books is only 4 bucks onlineread that? (real not fake)it's a grand vitara XL7 and not XL-7. spoon fed. RTM this is the real and official manual.

"size matters, LOL"they skipped many steps above.one is to drain coolant ! unless coolant in the oil pan is fun.belts off.crank pulley center bolt off ,see my photo.crank pulley off, (may need simple puller, as like on all cars might need, same tool)cover off. front of engine.then pump off.reverse above and the SM tells you the long process of getting RTV glue on the cover and have it NOT LEAK. RTM. send lots of time here, on sealant and WIN. end.The real book linked is best.
