The 4x4 indicator light is turned on by the actuator at the front differential when it engages the ADD. This means the problem is not at the front differential. It may be an issue with the transfer case if it's the automatic electronic controlled transfer case.

Take the cover off and see if that label is causing the problem.

The floor shifter engages the transfer case, the front differential the has to lock, if the 4wheel light does not turn on then the problem is at the front differential possibly the vacuum operated front wheel lock diaphragm. Check to make sure the vacuum hoses are attached to the vacuum housing, check the metal pipes on the diaphragm they can clog up with rust, you may have to remove it and apply vacuum to it to see if it works. If the hoses are on at both ends, they connect to a vacuum solenoid at the top, check the solenoid.

Try disconnecting the battery for a minute.

Get a 2nd opinion. Get the cooling system ckd. The cooling sensor will eventually adjust the timing along w the valves. ck your coolant level when warmed. all sensors contribute to valve/ timing.

Th cam shaft pulley has to be turning if motor running. Maybe fan is equipped with clutch that is bad.

check this fuse too.. The dash illumination lights run off of the TAIL fuse. Wierd I know!! also a bad dimmer switch could very well be the culprit.

It's the security system malfunctioning .
Sometimes it may lock you out u need to open rear hatch with key only ,then open locked drivers door then turn on the ignition .

Find the clicking relay and replace it.

It might be the seat belt receptacle.
