I need to know what color the power wire is on the headlight switch on a 2001 Dodge Dakota.
In a 2001 Dodge Dakota, the color of the power wire on the headlight switch can vary depending on the specific wiring configuration of your vehicle. However, in many cases, the power wire is typically orange. Keep in mind that automotive wiring colors can sometimes differ between vehicles due to variations in manufacturing and wiring harnesses.
For the most accurate and reliable information, I recommend referring to the wiring diagram specific to your vehicle. You can find this information in the vehicle's service manual, which can be obtained through repair manuals, automotive databases, or by reaching out to a Dodge dealership or automotive repair shop. If you're not comfortable working with automotive wiring, it's advisable to seek assistance from a professional mechanic to avoid any electrical issues.
Where is the neutral safety switch located?
The neutral safety switch in a 2008 Dodge Nitro is typically located on the transmission case, near the gear selector linkage. If your vehicle is experiencing starting issues in park and now the park won't engage, it's possible that the neutral safety switch might be malfunctioning. I recommend having a professional mechanic diagnose and repair the issue to ensure it's properly addressed.
I have a 2008 dodge avenger that leaks oil onto the engine and therefore creates smoke
It might be the Timing Cover Seal. I'd had to have one replaced on a Pontiac Grand Prix, where oil had been spitting up from it, causing the Serpentine Belt to get oily and slip. The Harmonic Balancer had to come off to get to it. The leak on my car at the time had stopped after that seal was replaces. The tire had to come off, the plastic mud guards, too. Google Search had turned up some Timing Case Cover Gaskets that ran up to around $20. Another site had turned up a Timing Cover Seal for around $7. Autozone sells those parts, too. That could be the part he had been talking about. Not positive. Perhaps the local parts store could advise further.
