2008 dodge charger esp/bas light
If the light is on, that means a trouble code is stored in the computer. Get the code and you'll have a starting point for diagnosis. The fact that it comes back on after resetting means you haven't fixed the underlying problme.
Heater not blowing hot air
Sounds as if you have a temp actuator gone bad & stuck on the ac side. If not you can make sure your heater core isn't stopped up. Take the hoses off at firewall going to heater core and shoot water in each side with a water hose nozzle till clear water comes through it. Sometimes flushing a radiator system isn't good enough.
Rubbing/grinding sound in front end/ drivetrain
from your description it is possible that the low brake pad warning tag is activated indicating tat the brake pads are worn out
it is a small tag that rubs on the disc just before the pads damage the rotor
as sound travels it could be a rear wheel with the problem
to check , take the vehicle to an accredited brake specialist shop and have the pad thickness checked
to be safe the thickness has to be 1/8 " or better
My 06 dodge charger rt has been making like a ticking noise since i bought the car in 09 is it normal or is there a problem
Since the ticking noise has been going on for about 6 years and you have not noticed anything yet, doubt that it is much of a problem. To be sure, next time in for service, have the mechanic check it out. A valve adjustment may be necessary. Or a lifter may need some work. If the ticking is coming from the engine, take a short length of pipe and hold it on the valve cover, etc.. You might be able to locate the ticking this way. Don't touch any electrical contacts. If it's coming from somewhere else on the car, with the car in park and on, give a listen under the car at various points to see you if can determine location. Find more information here:

Is the vin# any where else on car, not on dash, not in door
it should be on your registration. Here are other places it could be. Front of the engine block. This should be easy to spot by popping open the hood, and looking at the front of the engine. Front of the car frame, near the container that holds windshield washer fluid. Rear wheel well. Try looking up, directly above the tire. Inside the driver-side doorjamb. Open the door, and look underneath where the side-view mirror would be located if the door was shut. Driver-side doorpost. Open the door, and look near the spot where the door latches, not too far from the seatbelt return. Underneath the spare tire.If I knew the situation, I would not have said look at registration.
