That happened to my car as well, I had a air hose disconnected and if that didn't work, I was also told that it could have been a sensor, however I can recall the proper name for it. I hope this at least gives you an idea of what to look for. Good luck and take care.
Battery light comes on and car is dying while driving
From a former police officer and knowing this issue all too well, i suggest two things. first check or replace the fuel pump. second, check and or replace the catylatic convertor. these two things seemed to clear up the same issue we had.

Turn off heater blows hot air
the windows are fogging up from the water vapour inside the car hitting the glass and freezing. All the heater is doing is making the water vapour evaporate into smaller particles and freezing quicker. The way to overcome this is to dehumidify the air in the car (take the water vapour out). To do this use the AC as this is what it is designed to do . run the heater at the same time and the glass will clear and stay clear. In most cars this is called climate controlled air conditioning.

Red light on dash car
this would be the antitheft light. put the key in the ingnition turn it to the on position ( not the start position ) and leave it there for about 15 min. then start the car. if this does not work you must take it to the dealer.
