Repair winshield wash pump
If you have lots of time and patience you can try to fix it. The best is to replace the whole washer assembly which is usually sold as a unit, the pump with the reservoir.
2022 Ford Edge ST is telling me powertrain malfunction / reduced power. 7 times this has happened on my SUV and Ford says they don't know why?
2022, 6,000 miles and brand new.
Sort of bull, but not. The code tells the problem, but once the engine malfunction light go out, it is lost to the driver. However, all codes should be listed historically hiding in the background of the ECM that can be read with a pro grade scan tool computer, the sort that cost $3,500 to $5,000. These scan tools can also record what happens in real time. The dealership needs to keep it, drive it and record when it happens. If it only happens for a couple of seconds, you are not going to be able to catch it but they should be able to access those stored codes.
If you are anywhere near Tennessee, reach out to Scotty Kilmer on YouTube. He loves calling out the likes of Ford for shoddy workmanship. He also has a number of those pro grade scan tools.
2011 Ford Edge - I
I had the same issue on my 2013 Edge. Deleted the password expecting it to let me enter a new one. Since the password is unique to vehicle and not able to be deleted I went into the SYNC computer settings and reset to original settings. This takes a minute. The screen goes black. Opening the door or turning key off is not suggested. Resetting the in dash computer(sync) is the fix for deleting the original door key code.
How to replace a power steering pump in a 2010 ford edge 3.5l
My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website www.reliable-store.com that i used to get manuals from, and they have all models online.
I also brought for my 1989 BMW, such old model, they had it and it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.
Replacing a 2011 Edge collision sensor
First make sure the battery is disconnected to avoid blowing out your air bags. Next replace the offending collision sensor, it should be located on the radiator support, you may also need to remove the front bumper cover to gain access. If the vehicle was in a collision and that is the reason it's being replaced, then make sure you also check wiring for any damage as a short can cause the airbags to go off again unexpectedly and cause injury or damage to the vehicle.
After replacing the faulty part, clear the code(s) from the BCM.
