If I recall correctly, the MAP sensor on that vehicle is mounted on the firewall, close to the middle of the vehicle but slightly to the passenger side, just a few inches from the a/c air exchanger. Hi Paul. I'm Tim Dorton Nissan Senior Tech. Bad idea to diagnose anything on airbags.The voltage to trigger is very low. Best to have the dealer guys check it with the factory diagnostic stuff. You may find a problem and replace or repair a part, but you will change the resistance of the whole system.
