Why can't I open rear door?
Sounds like the rod fell off inside. Their not held on by much, - a little clip deal is all. Your probably going to have to pull the panel to fix. Maybe the rear seat as well, - if there isn't another access point somewhere.
To get it open:
-remove the door panel,
-remove the speaker,
-reach in a pull the top cable by hand.
There are a few ways to fix it, the easiest of which is to purchase a replacement latch assembly from the dealership.
If you don't want to spend the money, you can fix it with zip ties and flexible/semi-rigid plumbing parts from a hardware store.
Where can I get a repair manual?
Yikes cruise control is very touchy, it gets its signal from the computer so you might have some throttle control issues or egr issues, do you have any engine lights or pending service codes? If you do lots of repairs you can subscribe to mitchell on demand. It is a very accurate site and not to hard to use.

Any check engine or service engine soon lights on the dash? solid or flashing lights will indicate that you are having some sort of electronic issue. Typically if there are no malfunction indicator lights it could be more of a mechanical problem. How long have you had this problem and what were the events leading up to this happening? a little more info will help us help you that much more efficient. Please advise,
-Tim
