How do you remove the 2 sliding rear seats in a gmc acadia
On the front corner of your Acadia's middle row seats, you will notice a plastic covering - pull on it - the plastic pin holding it back will fall off, and you can then remove it. Now, the bolts that need to be removed to unmount the seat, are clearly visible.
Also, experts recommend that it would be best if the doors are removed to give enough space to manage the task. Removing the doors may take you about 10 to 15 minutes, whereas seat removal can take 20 to 25 minutes.

My GMC acadia has a short circuit and the engine
Do you have an aftermarket alarm or other system hooked up to the ignition system?
You need to provide the specific year, engine size, and model Acadia as well, such as if it is an LT or not for a proper diagram. Even with a wiring diagram, it's going to be a needle in a haystack that you will be looking for.
This sounds like you have some sort of aftermarket system that has a relay or capacitor that is delaying the cut off to the switch, which will explain the delay in shutting off and the drain on your battery.
Here's a test I would start with to see if you can narrow things down...
Remove the positive cable and hook a test light between the post and the positive cable and the test light will light up. Go to your fuse panel and pull each fuse one at a time and replace it, going from one to the next until the light goes out. That will be the circuit that is causing the drain. Hopefully you will be able to isolate the offending device, and hopefully correct the back feed into your ignition system at the same time.
2007 gmc acadia - Why is there no power to the theft deterrent module / anti theft module located at ignition?
Brown wire is not for data , for ign. voltage . in run or acc. Red white wire gets it's B+ voltage from PWR MOD fuse 2 amp. I/P fuse box . Having the system check for DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes is the first step in diagnosing a no start .

Diagnostic Starting Point - Immobilizer
Begin the system diagnosis with the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle. The Diagnostic System Check will provide the following information:
• The identification of the control modules which command the system
• The ability of the control modules to communicate through the serial data circuit
• The identification of any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and their status
The use of the Diagnostic System Check will identify the correct procedure for diagnosing the system and where the procedure is located.
There should be a dark green wire also ,at the theft module . This is for data communications , low speed GMLAN . Do you know what GMLAN is ? GM's version of C.A.N - controller area network . If your missing this wire , no wounder it won't start .

2008 GMC Acadia manual liftgate
2007 GMC Acadia manual liftgate will not open. Is there a way to bypass the electronic switch to get it open and replace the switch or latch?
The drivers door power window
{: ) The driver door switch is also the master switch for all 4 windows. If only the driver window is not working, but the other 3 can be controlled by the master switch, then you need to focus only on the driver window circuit itself. If a scan tool is not available, you can diagnose it in a conventional manner. You will need to remove the driver door trim panel so you can test for voltages on the window motor which only have two wires. The driver window motor receives its power directly from the driver door switch which is protected by a circuit breaker. So there's no small fuse issue here, and you really can't one. The circuit breaker is very unlikely the cause.
If there is voltage present on the motor terminals as you move the button up or down, it is possible that the motor got stuck ( if not busted), or a cable is loose, or a rail that is binding.
Has the gmc acadia amps been recalled
No they haven't. It probably just has a bad amplifier. It is locataed directly above the parking brake pedal. I would check to see if you have a water leak there.
Acadia ac blinking
This usually means that the ac is low on charge or the temperature is to low outside for operation.
Where is the starter on a 2007 gmc acadia
the starter is in the front of the engine right behind the oil filter. Look down at the oil filter and towards the driver side. You have to remove the front cat converter to gain access.
Where is the fuel relay switch?
Most of them are on the firewall near the top, cowl area. You could also look in the fuse block, they are labeled on the lid.
