DTC C1100 00: Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor Performance . Do you know what the brake booster is ? Circuit/System Description The electronic brake control module (EBCM) provides a power 5-volt reference to the brake booster vacuum sensor. The brake booster vacuum sensor converts the change in vacuum levels in the brake booster into a voltage signal. This signal is sent to the EBCM. The voltage signal ranges, from 0.13 to 3.30 volts depending on vacuum levels. The low reference is the return side of the sensor to ground. Conditions for Setting the DTC ?€¢ Voltage at the brake booster sensor signal output to the EBCM falls outside the 0.13 to 3.30 volts range for more than 200 milliseconds.

?€¢ The power 5-volts reference is shorted to ground or battery positive.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets The red BRAKE Warning indicator turns ON. Circuit/System Verification DTC C1100 will set as result of power brake booster vacuum sensor or circuit failure, test for power and ground circuits to the EBCM. ?‡' Repair the power or ground circuits.

code is for ABS. might be a sensor that needs cleaning. check wheel hub of to locate the sensor. usually it is found at the back of the hub.

The problem is in the amp. It is under the dash and has two sides that product sound. That is where the switch over is. Take to a stereo shop and have them check the connections. Also before you due that insure the rear controls are not damaged at the rear of the console.

If it has been run out of oil too many times or too long between oil changes. Crank shaft bearings are worn out.

If it has gas struts then you can safely say that the struts have lost their gas charge. Often gas struts that are a bit tired will work OK in summer and not so well in winter when the pressure in them is lower due to the colder weather. They are quick and easy to replace and generally quite cheap (less than $60 a pair). There are companies that will come to your house and fit them on the spot for a reasonable price.

Is the check engine light on? does it do it when its cold, warm or all the time? start by getting the transmission fluid and filter changed/check for debris but ussually this is the first sign you'll need a transmission rebuilt/replaced. But keep in mind I havent seen the vehicle

JUNE , CHECK WITH YOUR CHEVROLET DEALER FOR SURE ANSWERS!

Your owners manual shows the location of your fuse panel, or panels. There should also be (in you manual) a diagram showing the position and function of each fuse in the panel. See if you can locate this in your manual. If you don't have that diagram, go to your dealer and ask for a copy of the pages showing this. Usually the service dept people are really good about sharing that info without a charge. Good luck.

I have to know the problem is and what you have done to try and fix it latey and make n model I only do this to help people who needs it and I love it when people are so happy to get it fixed and I don't want to come off as full myself its isn't like that I just wanted you to know I know what I am doing and I been just blessed and only thou gods grace I am able and gifted with talent for the work I do it was very hard!!!.it is the ignition lock and key is bad

where you attempting to turn at all or where you going in a straight line. A four wheel drive system has no way to "slip" the front and rear wheels as you turn. If you try to turn on dry or wet pavement in four wheel drive the system will bind up causing the exact symptom you described. It is very hard on the 4x4 system to do this. I personally activate the 4x4 about once a month throughout the "summer" months while driving straight down a city road and only for a a couple of blocks just to make sure everything gets a chance to move and whenever I need it going off road (sand, dirt, mud).
