Turn the little button in headlight switch that controls your dash lights,, size around as a pencil, center, i belive it will pop in and out too for adjustment, push it,,, if that dont work ,, then posibley one of your door activators has came loose and pushed in not letting it cut the dome off

You may have some bearings down,,, on cam or crank,,, check with manual guage to make sure the electric ones are right first

Maybe the guage or sending unit is bad,,,by a maual guage and check the presure,,,hook it up where the sending unit is on back of engine diverside left,, lower where intake bolts to the intake,,i would change the oil and filter, first,, with a little heavier engine oil,,, 10w30 or 10w40 highmilage....,,, 5.3 holds 5.75 quarts

It is directly above the brake pedal. It is called a Brake Pedal Postion sensor.

It is a 25amp circuit breaker Marked LT DR located in the Instrument fuse panel / Fuse Block - I/P Left of the I/P behind the side trim panel

The guage could be bad and losing connection triggering the message. My dads Tahoe reads low oil pressure but the sensor connection or stepper motor that moves the guage could and have had a history of being faulty. It was probably shorted by the tea, most likely a fuse blew.

it depends on the condition of your a/c unit, attached the manifold guage check the high side and low side if the high side is above 275 psi clean the condencer . and if the lowside is below 30 psi probably theres a leak on the unit

I disconnected the battery then hook it back up and all was okay again, that simple!!
I wonder what they would of charged me for that at the dealer?

You have a parasitic draw some where. Your voltage shouldnt be less than 12.4 at your battery, you can turn everything off put a tester on battery and one by one pull and re install each fuse in your box, the draw on anyone one item should be more than .5 also with your car off and everything off there should be any draw, this will help you find the draw and fix.

check the tail shaft for failed "u" joints

If the security system fails it will not allow the car to start.. I found a module when this happen me and u can install on your own

Lock and unlock the drivers door with the key. May have to do it twice.

if your system have two catalictic converters two before the cat and two after htey call them up stream or down strem

-How about the rests...? It's on when you open it...? If so. The switch on driver side has a bad ground or dirty contact. Check it. Inspect the wire and use ohm meter to check continuity on the switch. If it read or show any number when you open then the wire is broken or loose connector.
