What are the best tires for my jeep?

this depends on what you are asking. tire brand or tire type. brand wise ive allways had good luck with BF Goodrich. type on the other hand depends what you mostly use the car for. an agressive tread pattern will give you good off road control but tends to be noisey on the highway and wears a little faster. an all terrain or AT will give okay service on both and a straight street tire will give excellent service on hard surfaces but not very good for off road. with that said if you only go off road occassionly an all terrain would probably be best. hope this helps

How can I replace oil pressure sending unit?

which lamp glows. there are engine oil and transmission oil (not my M/t is stick) warnings, got P0522 scan errors? try posting photos of failing lamps. and win. the tea pot ICON is engine. for sure. wow1, no engine size stated. gas or diesel. wow2, not scanning for DTC errors. (always first) comes on only hot engine, cold or both.? only at idle? or only at 85mph in Dallas (speed limit there) what if it is telling the truth, ever consider that? and then you burn up engine. (falsely condemning sensor) this is what a pro shop does. 1: check oil levels ,if too full the oil may foam up and do this. bad bad bad... that. 2: checks to be sure correct viscosity oil is there, not 0w. (no location or climate stated by you) RTM read the operators guide on oil type. and climates. recommended, the guide is free. posted 200 + times.jeep.com manuals. 3: we then remove the sensor, and... 4: then attach a shop grade pressure meter. 5: then do the tests in the FSM book, then (sensor bad or engine bad, is known) and do what makes sense now,,, not going to answer latter) the sensors is ported to the main oil gallery on most cars near oil filters on most cars. due to gallery is used by filter too. My JK has 3.8L v6 (some have a 2.8L diesel, engine) the 07 is same as 08, in many factors. i look in FSM. is see this. 3.8L engine I guess. 5 psi at idle, 30-80 psi at 3000 RPM(jeep spec)not chilton bs. i then look at engine location i see this. P0522 DTC errors, too.. the cluster glows the oil pressure ICON, looks like Aladens lamp. or tea pot....??? the PCM sets the code, at 1psi, (FSM facts) so if that is happening, id not drive car. 1PSI, is way too low to run any jeep. yes, the sensor is hard to find.! for cause... on the 3.8, the photos on the jeep.com page, dont help either. shows lower front left side of engine block. fitment.but hark the jeep.com drawing is WRONGthere is Nothing there, with wires.so where is it, its on the cold water returnfitting on rigth side front of engine.looks like a water temp sensor, but is NOT. p/n : 05149098AA (ENGINE)e818b248-3f4b-4935-b7c4-ae336b0d66e2.jpg26124209-sfgrgt5j1genusl55xvezfzt-4-2_0.jpg

2007 jeep wrangler will not start put in a new battery and a new alternator, still will not start lights come on just wont turn over.

by your description, it sounds like you may have a starter problem. The main wire from the battery may be loose on the starter end.as well. If you do any off roading this would be typical as well as corrosion. There is an ignition relay as well, and a fuse for the ignition. This I believe may be under the hood in a plastic box. I would check fuses first, then have a look at the starter and wires. Starters are known to go without warning. If this jeep is a manual transmission, I would try to start it by coasting and catching it in gear. If the jeep starts, it is in the starter,or wiring. Ground wire included. if not, the problem lies elsewhere. keep me posted

The small storage compartment in the back of my

If your Jeep has a soft top -

I have a 2007 Unlimited and has the same problem. My Jeep is a soft top and the water came from the rain and a poor seal of the back window. Part of the problem came from the displacement of the plastic "c" shaped "rear window bar holder" that clips on to the rear on either side of rear window. Ocasionally the clip pops out of place and breaks the seal between the rubber on the window and the rear sides of the Jeep.

Jeep brakes broken

Many Wrangler JK's have lift, but few people extend their brake lines. This is particularly important for Rubicon models. The Rubicons are capable of insane wheel travel, by stretching the wheel travel further (lifted?) you could exceed the length of the feeble factory brake lines. Crown manufactures brake line extensions for Wranglers, specifically for lifts.

Abs light stays on and the esc indicator light also but when you start it it shows it off

the operators guide shows what these mean and what to do. lost that>? i have one, and 08 JK. pages 105 to 116 it resets each drive. the opr guide says that, and does. its a very complex system, you should RTM. ill quote your missing pages. ABS: If the light remains on after start-up or comes on and stays on at road speeds, it may indicate that the ABS has detected a malfunction or has become inoperative. The system reverts to standard non-anti-lock brakes. ESP:/TCS The ESP/TCS Indicator Light (located in the instrument cluster), starts to flash as soon as the tires lose traction and the ESP system becomes active. The ESP/TCS Indicator Light also flashes when TCS is active. If the ESP/TCS Indicator Light begins to flash during acceleration, ease up on the accelerator and apply as little throttle as possible. Be sure to adapt your speed and driving to the prevailing road conditions is this clear? if not ask more, questions , more specific and we can peel the onion deep as you want. also wiki this topic, to understand it ...

I own a 2007 jeep

I had a similar issue where the alarm went off, pulled the battery to silence, and upon re-connecting it the Jeep wouldn't start. It's a protection mechanism built into the security system to prevent tampering/bypassing the system. The computer goes into lockdown and won't start...

To clear it you have to reconnect the battery and leave it sit. It's supposed to be a 60min cycle, but it seemed like it took longer for me. I plugged it in before leaving for work (in my wife's vehicle) and she tried starting it several hours later when she needed to run an errand and it started right up.
