no crank? or no start.? or post, it cranks fast but wont start, that is 100% clear. my car , i can push and gravity start it. (M/T stick) if it wont crank did you try jumper cable start to a donor car? did you check all fuses?

which engine? we dont know, nor country , some have difr. engines. the operators guide tells you every warning icon, lost that? look here, see all those, Exclamation points, one is yours. post a photo of yours, or get oper guide. or try getting the car scanned, really. get it scanned to see what those funny icons really mean. RPM's no my 6sp m/t go up in direct proportion to engine RPM (real gears) but on a A/T this is partly true (the slush factor) if the slip is excessive, its is called tranny slip or of far gone FLARE. id say dont driver it or risk burning up A/T clutch packs ? or? 1: check all fuses. 2: check fluid levels and color quality (ATF is pink not brown) 3: scan it. jack in and see what's up doc.

old jeeps ran shared lamps, see the schematic of the combo switch. then in 07, the BS went to max. "dah Chinese" the 08 is a very complex car. electronics wise. the owners manual is good for blown fuses or how to change a bulb that is why they make the FSM, the size of you leg. the newer the car , the more complex. some cars with CAN bus there is one power cable and the BCM tells the lamps to turn on by digital communication, to the lamps processor, yes, Chinese. the Grand Cher. has this. this saves vast sums of copper wire, (now horded? see wsj.com) rule 2 on cars, and worse on newer there is only 1 name on a fuse. and some go to 20 places. the all time top fuse that does that is aka: PARK/TAIL/RUNNING lamps, ( i like PARK) there are vast parking lamps. inside (dimmable) and outside which work and which do not. happy new year. scan the car. obd2 scanner. the PRNDL switch is dead. check all fuses first. check for car battery reading below 12v. (any voltmeter ever made works)

most individuals dont have all those tools on hand to do this..either take it to a shop and let them deal with it or to the dealer service.. then you wont have the headache of keeping all those fasteners in line..

check the window regulator

the regulators may have crashed on it

code p0017 refers to crank/ cam oosition sensor bank 1 sensor B -correlation ===causes --wiring--CKP sensor--CMP sensor--mechanical fault. It also refers to control modules, cooling fan--no signal===causes -- wiring--ECM. If it has a timing chain then the the advice that it will not be the chain is good. So I suggest checking out the cam/ crank sensors and wiring

by pass the starter motor, see the diagrams attached+chart for troubleshooting and fix it.God bless you
