A little wrench shows briefly when I start my car, what does it mean?

it is your service interval indicator - basically meaning oil change coming up. Check owners manual to see how to display days and miles until it is required (cant remember that exactly, think you just hold the odo button while turning on ignition). To reset, hold the odometer button and turn on the ignition, then push the clock minute button and this should reset the indicator.

Clunking/ticking noise during acceleration in 3rd and 4th gears

This sounds on the base of it to be pre ignition, if so the moment you take the foot off the gas it goes? The cure is to retard the ignition timing slightly, have you recently changed your octane of fuel? this will also cause this? The noise is caused by the expansion of the compressed gases expanding before the piston reaches top dead centre causing the piston to \'rattle\' left unchecked will cause permanent damage and engine failure

Heater fan has sto pped

First look to see if you have a fuse for the blower motor...then you will want to disconnect power to the fan an jump 12 volts to the fan motor to see if it works...if ok, then there is a speed control resistor that sometimes goes bad located on the heater assembly...It is usually right past the fan so the fan can keep it cool and has 4 or more wires on it. if all else ok then last would be the switch inside car

Hi, can the clutch in a VW rabbit be adjusted ? it

Mel I have a short girlfriend and I gave her my manual shift Saturn. I looked all over hell and found many contraptions for this by searching under orthopedics and little people. The gadgets however were all over 100 dollars so I fashioned a piece of wood with a couple bolts and it did the trick. On a newer car such as yours however, maybe it is worth the expense. These folks were very helpful.
