What code do you have? The book shows that the 2007 3.5L engine doesn't use any EGR valve, newer engines are designed to run clean without the need for Exhaust Gas Recirculation valves. Also keep in mind the emission control system is covered under a 7 year or 70,000 mile federal warranty, longer in Calif.

You may have a partial blockage of your cooling system, or your engine thermostat may be at fault. It may help if you have the cooling system flushed out and have a cleaner put in for a couple of days to dissolve and remove any sediment that can build up in the pipes and radiator. Also your heater selection switch or slide control on your instrument panel may not be operating fully. I would suggest you check these things, one at a time. Good luck.

Programming a personal entry code and keypad association to
memory seats and mirrors (if equipped)
To create your own personal entry code:
1. Enter the factory set code.
2. Within five seconds press the 1 • 2 on the keypad.
3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Each number must be entered
within five seconds of each other.
4. To associate the entry code with a memory setting, enter a sixth digit
to indicate which driver should be set in a memory recalled by the
personal entry code:
• Pressing 1 • 2 recalls Driver 1 settings.
• Pressing 3 • 4 recalls Driver 2 settings.
• Pressing other keypad buttons or not pressing a keypad button as a
sixth digit does not set a driver and will not recall a memory setting.
Note: The factory-set code cannot be associated with a memory
setting.
5. The doors will lock then unlock to confirm that your personal keycode
has been programmed to the module.
Tips:
• Do not set a code that uses five of the same number.
• Do not use five numbers in sequential order.
• The factory set code will work even if you have set your own personal
code.
Erasing personal code
1. Enter the factory set 5–digit code.
2. Within five seconds, press the 1 • 2 on the keypad and release.
3. Press and hold the 1 • 2 for two seconds. This must be done within
five seconds of completing Step 2.
All personal codes are now erased and only the factory set 5–digit code
will work

How did you pull the DVD? My guess is one or two things; either there was an internal malfunction that prevented the DVD from ejecting and you made it worse by forcing the disc out, or there are multiple connections on the back and you may be missing one. Otherwise, the connector you know is good may have disconnected on the other end (if it isn't hardwired all the way to the control module) or something else got jarred loose while you were in the wiring. I'd take a good look at all the connectors behind the DVD player (not just the ones that connect to it) and look for something loose... otherwise you might need a new DVD player. If you have a multimeter and can verify the connector to the DVD player has power you can eliminate the likelyhood that it has disconnected closer to the control module.

Sounds like you have a leak around windshield.

antibacterial spray such as lysol. or alcohol in a spray bottle, with this you have to spray then srub a little bit with a brush.(lysol works better, i have had this issue before). hope this helps.
