Probably looking at a visit to the local Ford dealer.

Praise be to God!! My ford edge had a blocked condensation drain. We found the drain hose on the driver side by the gas petal, Peal the carpet and you will see the hose, pull the black hose apart with a screw driver and attach a shop vac to the hose and it will unpluged and pull all the water out. Everyone kept telling us the wrong location.

The manual unlock is operated by a set of small levers in the door. Either the connecting rod between the key mech and the door lock has become loose or the mechanism inside the lock itself is faulty. Modern cars don't like being unlocked manually, you might have tripped the security system by trying to unlock the door, which could be why the anti-theft mode is giving you a warning. It's usually more of a warning that someone has tampered with the door locks and couldn't gain entry or something like that. If your car came with a manual for the security system, read up on it.

Check with a diagnostic scan tool for module fault codes and sensor fault codes. If nothing comes back complete electrical circuit prove out.

Answer by Mike Escue,--- To replace the output speed sensor( i just finished doing mine i bought it from ford for 40 bucks and tax if you put the edge on good size ramps and put on the parking brake remove the entire air box on the front right remove the wheel well cover and locate the black cover on the front of the transmission(behind the raidiator)the output speed sensor is at the botom of the transmission and when you remove the front trans cover and the sensor get a bucket or drip pan handy about 3-4 quarts will come out (it holds 10)mercon V the electrical harness is behind the black cover the say remove the valve body you dont have to i tied a wire to the connector and fished the new one back through the front shaved off a couple of hours that way i am not super mechanically inclined but when ford said 800 bucks to replace it i asked for an exploded view and bought the part told them i would bring it back for them to install later

Ok so show me what kind of terminal you might have I am sending u photos. Now this one I am sending the remove it you will need neither a 10 mm or a 8 mm metric wrench. Let me know if this is the kind you have plus some have a cover which you will un-clip and lift to get to the terminal. You only loosen the bolt closest to the battery post not the ones holding the extra wires ok. The nut on the side not the the nut that is flat. Let me know, good luck

you will probably have to drop the tank but you could look for a trap door under the carpet.

What type of water float is it?

Had a similar problem with an explorer. When u lock the vehichle with the fob does the horn honk twice? If it does the vehichle thinks there is a door open. I found a broken ground wire inside the driver side front door harness. Used a scotch lock to fix it and problem was over

The fule filter is located in side the fule tank.

Most OBD2 scanners need the key on in the run position to achieve link, if it's in any other position then there won't be link.. Try that first and go from there

I have the same car. If you are serious about getting the code number for the car you need to visit ford dealer: & get a/the code number, then get the code activated in the car, and pay a serious $$. I do not use the feature due to the cost the activate it.
