Our 2007 AWD Edge has 25000 miles on it. We

Every 500 miles, no, if you meant 5000 then yes, but if the inside is extremely worn down that sounds more like an alignment issue. If it was just a rotation issue, then the front tires would most likely be the ones worn down the most, but they should still be evenly worn across the tread. Also, i wouldnt take it to the dealership unless you just want to spend more than you have to, ask around, find a reputable shop, anything but the dealerships.

The key will not turn in the ignition to start the vehicle.

Hi mate.

Try this.

Lightly lubricate both the key and the ignition.

Now turn it slowly from left to right so you will not break the key.

When you have it moving a little, re-lubricate it again and work it as before.

This should free the working parts inside the ignition switch.

Failing that you will have to invest in a new one.

IM TRYING TO CHANGE THE RT. INNER CV BOOT BUT I

There is a circlip on the axle that makes it hard to pop out. There is no way to reach in and take off this clip so don't think about that. You can try a few things to get it out though. They make a attachment for slide hamers that are shaped like a u that slips in behind that you can try to pop it out, or you can use a pry bar to get behind the joint and pop it out that way. A word of caution- be very carefull if you are going to pry on it, the casing behind is not very strong and you can crack it-so be gentel, may even put a block of wood as cussion under the bar. It would also help to have one of your freinds over to help hold the axle out as straight as possible in order to take any extra load off the inner joint.

My truck starts most of the time but has failed to

The typical symptom of problems with the injector are, stalling , hesitation and fouling of spark plugs. You should even see the spark plugs wet with gasoline. Otherwise check the status of the spark plug if it needs replacement or even the timing.

Fuel gauge doesn't work.

Disconnect the wires from the sending unit. Using an ohmeter, measure the resistance of the internal coil. If there's a good continuity (1 to 1.5 kilo ohms) chances are, the wires are pulled. If resistance is more than 1.5 kilo ohms, replace the sending unit.

Are these conventional bulbs or HID? Probably bulb is burnt out, but there is still enough filament flapping around in there to complete the circuit under some circumstances. Either that, or the bulb itself is not seated firmly in its connector.

The side lights and dash lights failed

fuses are under dash somewhere sounds like either that or under the hood is the relay box .. under the lid of the relay box it tells you which relay is which .. also your fuse box under the dash will tell you which one is which on the back side of the lid.. try this and see if it has one blown or not working properly .. always try easiest things first then if that fails go to the next step . thanks jerry holler if you need more.

2022 Ford Edge ST is telling me powertrain malfunction / reduced power. 7 times this has happened on my SUV and Ford says they don't know why?

2022, 6,000 miles and brand new. Sort of bull, but not. The code tells the problem, but once the engine malfunction light go out, it is lost to the driver. However, all codes should be listed historically hiding in the background of the ECM that can be read with a pro grade scan tool computer, the sort that cost $3,500 to $5,000. These scan tools can also record what happens in real time. The dealership needs to keep it, drive it and record when it happens. If it only happens for a couple of seconds, you are not going to be able to catch it but they should be able to access those stored codes. If you are anywhere near Tennessee, reach out to Scotty Kilmer on YouTube. He loves calling out the likes of Ford for shoddy workmanship. He also has a number of those pro grade scan tools.
