Getting to the sparkplugs 2007

Hi, the spark plugs are located inside spark plug tunnels which are through the valve cover. 2007 nissan Sentras are equipped with individual coils for each plug. So to get to them, first remove all the plastic coverings over the valve cover. 10mm socket and 1/4 inch rachet with a 6 inch extension should do the trick. Before disconnecting electrical parts please disconnect the battery. Remove wiring looms for coils. Remove bolts for coil packs, lift coils out of tunnels. Spark plugs are down inside the tunnels. Use the proper sizing for plug removal. A 3/4 inch rachet with deep spark plug socket and 6 inch extension should get them out. When replacing spark plugs, thread them by hand first, usually a good 2 or 3 full turns and be careful not to over tighten. The plugs screw into the alluminum cylider head. Alluminum is soft and you can quickly ruin the threads. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Shifts hard into third, codes come up shift

All I can say is to take it to a trans shop or the dealer, you will not be able to diag and fix this problem yourself it is a detailed pinpoint test that involves specific tools. Replacing the solenoid assembly it turned out to be a TCM (Transmission Control Module)... may not be the cure for your demon but its a possibility.

It could be a not completely seated connector, bad solenoid or a bad molded lead frame (shift solenoid complete assembly) or a new unit.

Check this procedure: Diagnostics/Automatic%20Transmission/Circuit%20Inspection/cip0750p.

How do you know when a belt itensioner is bad

The drive belt tensioner or the timing belt tensioner both have an internal bearing. When that bearing starts to go bad it will get noisy and the noise will get louder and louder as time goes on, until you replace it. Good luck :O)

My 2007 sentra windshield wipers won't turn off,

Your switch may be stuck. Sorry, but the only way to change this is by taking the switch out. Even though it is a hassle, you could take the fuse out until it rains. I had the same problem in Arizona. Thank goodness it never rains! You might need a new motor. Usually, they are mounted on the firewall. Motor might be stuck. Check that first before you check the actual switch. If you need anything, please let me know. I will try to help as much as I can.
