The engine and the automatic transmission in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. Check your fuse box ,on newer cars and trucks they are large metal encased fuses usually under the hood in relay box or under back seat,should be able to find exact location in owners manual .

there is a switch to turn it on while driveing see if is on or the switch on the door could be bad
