If you have access to a voltmeter see how many volts are in your battery. Without the engine running it should have just under or around 12 volts. If your voltage is below 11 put a charger on the battery or get a jump off of another vehicle and see if you can start the engine. Also check and make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. If the battery is in good condition and the cables are clean and tight I would look to the starter as the culprit.

Even after charging the battery or jumping? Do you know where the starter is located and what it looks like? Round, 3 wires coming out of the top, located under the engine at the rear. Check these wires and make sure they are secure. Located on top of the starter is the selonoid which causes the starter to engage. With the vehicle in park, emergency brake applied, have someone try starting it while you lay underneath. Listen for a clikcking to come from the seloniod. Can put your hand on it and feel the click too. If you get a strong click, but the starter does not engage, you may have a bad starter. Not too hard to change out but take battery cables off 1st! Also change the seloniod if you take the starter off. You do not want to do this twice so easier to make sure both parts are new. GT

You should not have to do that on your vehicle.It has a return line to the fuel tank.All you need to do is cycle the fuel pump a few times.Just turn your key on wait a few seconds turn it off turn it back on wait a few and so forth.It should build up fuel pressure and start up.

@Steve where is the oil pressure sensor located?

Since you do not state whether you checked the oil and what the condition and level it was, that is important to know for advise to be given.

But unfortunantly, what you describe is some of the indications of a blown head gasket. Did you have white smoke coming out of the exhaust? Is there any indication of water on your dipstick? Is there a oily slim on the top of your antifreeze in the radiator overflow?
