What are the color codes for the iat sensor on a
The color codes are tan and a tan/black. There are 2 wires that go into the mass air flow sensor, fyi dont buy or put a resistor in this spot, it tells your engine its getting colder air than it actually is and doesnt help anything. If you buy it you will decide to return it, but then you just lost on shipping cost, and a resistor is about a dime in cost.
I have a 2008 chevy silverado and was going down
This is a 'limp home mode' and is engaged if a fault is detected that may result in damage to the engine if allowed to go unchecked. Take the vehicle to a dealer or Autozone and get a read out of the stored error codes from the on-board diagnostics module as this will help define the exact nature of the fault.
I drive a 08 silverado and the egine hot ac turned
Mine did the same thing and would clear up after a day or two. My GM dealer said it may be the thermostat and would cost $150.00 plus, I bought the stat myself, VERY simple to replace your self, part is only $23.00, been 10,000 miles and problem hasn't happened again.
Lock won't go without me
most likely the lock actuator is bad ,your GM tech can hook the tech two up and test the actuator.

Where are the fuses for Onstar, satellite radio
Comments from the dealership, the fuse location
for the Onstar system is located as follows: Drivers-side
instrument panel fuse block, exposed on the left edge of the panel when
the drivers door is open. Pull the fuse labeled: #22, a 10A fuse. The
label in the owners manual calls it the "Driver Information Center
(DIC)". This will disable the ONSTAR system.
Leave to GM
to move the fuse locations around, this used to be under the hood and
it was called the INFO fuse and it was a 15a fuse.
And yes....It does **** that
they moved it from the '07s,on mine its a 15amp fuse under the hood
marked 'INFOTNMT" like you said.

I locked my keys in the truck, how do I get in
unless you are good with a coat hanger then you will need to call a lock smith. That is the best way in my opinion. That way you don't run the risk of damaging anything. Hope this helps. Good luck.
No crank 2008 silverado
check battery terminals first
check the small wire at the starter with a test light to see if there is power when you crank.
if there is power then you need a starter
if there is no power then you need to check the switch
