since the check engine light can come on for well over 100 different faults I would say the dealer is guessing, ask if he replaces the pump on this guess will he fix the real cause if the car still has a problem. I would suggest u go to Kragen or Autozone parts and have them run a free trouble code test for the cause of the check engine light. With that code in hand post it back here for us to look at and try to diagnose.

u could possible have a broken seal in your gas cap which cause the gas tank not to pressurize correctly thus having those problems or it can be a broken gas line!

Did they work before replacing the master switch? If not, check fuses and (sometimes) relays -- information is in your owner's manual, or search online. If the windows worked previously, either the new switch is no good or somehow it wasn't connected properly.
