P0497 = evaporative emission system low purge flowcel if you want to try and fix this problem, buy a new genuine Honda gas cap and see if the light turns back on. if that doesnt work, the job can get very expensive to diagnose and fix. The next thing a dealer would do is run an evaporative function test (~$100) to see what is leaking.

None of them??? If the driver's works but the rest don't, check to make sure you didn't hit the lockout switch on the driver's door that turns off the other doors for travelling with kids. This happens ALL the time with Honda's. If none work, start with the basics. Check ALL fuses and relays, etc.

the dealer has a kit. or go to walfart see rack with trailer kits. see if one fits yours. or at any autostore on earth. the trailer will be 4 wire and many cars (most) are not compatible to 4 wire trailers. I can RTM, sure can.... quote VTM-4 lamp (your 4wd?) This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position. If it comes on at any other time, there is a problem in the 4WD system. Take the vehicle to your dealer to have it checked. If the indicator blinks while driving, the VTM-4 fluid temperature is too high. Pull to the side of the road when it is safe, shift to Park, and let the engine idle until the indicator goes out. It is set at the factory either it does not work or it does. They do tend to rev up fairly high to prevent any lugging and overheating the transmission. Best thing is to leave it in D and let it do it's thing.
