Is it your tail lights or Brake lights? My 88 Couger had a brake switch that went bad and the Brake Lights stayed on.

Hi there:This could be several different things from a loose gas cap to a faulty sensor. You will need to go to any local Autozone and have it scanned to see what codes stored. This way we can diagnose the car correctly. If its running ok and the transmission is shifting fine then it should be fine to drive.
