How do you replace spark

One spark plug at a time. Use a 3/8 extension and a spark plug socket, the socket should have a piece of rubber in it to hold the spark plug in it. Remove the spark plug wire to gain access to the plug, then using the socket and rachet with the extension, turning to the left untill spark plug is all the way out. Looking at a spark plug can tell you several things about each cylinder they come from, so get a manual for your car, anyways replace new spark plug in the socket, be sure to double check the right gap, then replace by turning to the right/clockwise direction untill it is snug in the hole. Do not over tighten or under tighten. Replace the sparkplug wire and move to next plug. Good luck

The engine light is on

The engine light has nothing to do with the levels of any fluids. this light indicates that there is a problem with your management system ( fuel and combustion control system) in other words the one of the components that control the engines productivity are not working or reporting an error. Get it checked by someone who can diagnose the electronic system.

TPM is alarming every 30

Cold weather causes air to condense and air pressure to be reduced, causing your tires to read low pressure to the TPM. Check and fill all your tires to your recommended vehicle inflation pressure, to stop the TPM from alarming you every 30 seconds.

Hi duane i drained old

Let it cool down and check fluid level. fill leave cap off and start the engine as level lowers fill until starts to overflow and replace cap. Warning lights could be from an "air bubble" causing a sensor to see low fluid level.

I have a 2004 lincoln

When the engine is running the onboard computer should show the "check engine" light for any recorded problems including the transmission.

The Solenoids were a possibility. There is also a major part called a Transfer case. It is like a second transmission. It connects power to the drive wheels. There are Vacuum switches in some models and Electric in others. If the Vacuum switch (SERVO) is not kicking into gear the engine will spin and the wheels will not. It is something to check.

Also your Lincoln may still be covered by a 6 Year, 70,000Mile Powertrain Warranty. It depends when the vehicle was bought new and the Warranty should transfer to a second owner. Its a Perk for buying Lincoln. A call to a Lincoln Dealer with your Vin# will tell, and you can also ask if there are any Service bulletins about your problem.

I hope my Reply is helpful to you.

Rough idle on 2003 lincoln

Hi! As a first course of action please check the sparkplugs. If the plugs are full of carbon this can cause a rough idle on the car. You will need to clean or replace the plugs if necessary. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Shifter assembly broke, looking for used part

First, you may save yourself some work because Lincolns have a longer warranty than other products. You should call a dealer and also have them run your Vin# for recalls.
Ask if there are any TSBs or Technical Service Bulletins for your vehicle which are fixed without a recall, but with no expense or shared expense. These are done on a "silent warranty" basis.

If unsuccessful at that, the internet Salvage yards can ship the used part direct to you. Or a local Salvage yard would be quicker if they have the part. You also might want a dealer to run the part# to see if a sister vehicle like an Explorer or Mountaineer part would work.

Putter-shaking-hesitating-light on-

You can take it to Autozone or O'reillys and they will scan the engine for free. They usually will identify the part that is bad from reading the scanner.
It sounds like the EGR sensor for the emissions and a TPS throttle position sensor for the performance. The rough ride could be a 4x4 control because some of the Lincolns will pump up the air suspension harder for the 4x4 setting.
