check the plug under the back of the truck for corrosion

There must be endless info about this online or youtube or any of the offroad sites.
Make sure you mount a good cut out switch between the battery and winch you can access in a hurry to save your truck. A big fuse is usually available from the winch co rated for that winch. If it all goes wrong you can isolate the winch. Cable is going to be stick welding cable size to get good power. Be careful how you route it. Its a big winch, use a professional mounting kit and good quality fasteners.

The DRL 10-amp fuse in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the DRL relay switch contacts and relay coil. When the BCM energizes the DRL relay , the DRL receive voltage on the DRL supply voltage circuit.

It is located in the underhood fuse/relay box , marked DRL 10 amp fuse ! Also if that is good check the DRL relay in the same fuse/relay box .Your light sensor could also be bad .
The daytime running lamps (DRL) will operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position, for automatic transmissions (A/T), the gear selector is not in the PARK position, the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, and for manual transmissions (M/T), the park brake is released. When these conditions have been met and the ambient light sensor indicates daytime conditions, the DRL will illuminate. The ambient light sensor is a light sensitive transistor that varies its voltage signal to the body control module (BCM) in response to changes to the outside (ambient) light level. When the BCM receives this signal it will either turn on the DRL or the headlamps for auto headlamp operation. Any function or condition that turns on the headlights will cancel the daytime running lamps operation. The DRL can be manually turned OFF by depressing the AHL/DRL switch in the headlamp switch
Do you know that on inside of fuse box lid it shows what fuse is what .

A scan test will not identify where an open circuit is located. It will only identify which components circuit that may be open. How do they know there is an open in the circuit that you have mentioned?

Remove the aftermarket remote start system. Soon you won't be able to start the truck at all. Even the factory units only last about 7 years. Every time I get electrical problems with ignition/starting. If it has an aftermarket system. I pull them out. Every time, so far, it has fixed the problem.

The cables are universal but normally go by length of cable if the lengths are different. When the hubs were replaced, did the hubs get replaced with the ones that are for ABS? the ones for abs will have a ring of teeth so the sensor can read the hub speed.
