Most of the time this is due to the antitheft security system. There comes a time in the life of all GM vehicles where the system begins to fail and cause this exact problem. Eventually the system won't read the antitheft portion of the key and disable the fuel injectors like you are seeing now. Go check out this link

You say the blower goes on/off at any speed?,you mean if on high it cuts off?,on low it cuts off?sounds the same???. Try putting a continuity lamp at the fuse box and watch(someone watch)to see if light goes on/off;"could" be power is disconnected at blower(if light stays on). This is free of cost(s) and somewhere to start. Hope this helps somewhat. Alberto
Sounds like the float in the tank is faulty, or the gauge on the dash.
You should be able to unplug the circuit to the sending unit and check both components.
Hi... On your question.
99% of the problem with speed in the blower Is. :
The blower Motor Resistor.
Is located Beside the Blower motor. Just follow the Blower motor wires it will lead to the Resistor.... I recomend to replace for a New one. Is not spensive...
I hope this help on your question,,, Thank you for use fixya...
its making my truck die - What does that mean? Is the truck's engine shutting down while it is running, or is the battery being drained such that the engine will not start? Is the radio ON even when the ignition switch is turned off? Your radio power wire may be connected to a point that is always on instead of to a point that is controlled by the ignition switch.
Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2
As the code description implies the P0430 code means that the vehicle's control module has detected that the three-way catalytic converter is not working properly (is not as efficient as the factory is expecting). Replacing the oxygen (O2) sensors may sometimes fix the code, but in most cases the catalytic convert needs to be replaced to fix the problem. If the P0430 code is combined with other codes, try fixing the other codes first. could also be vacuum leak or exhaust leak
I'm not sure if a fuse controls it all... but i am certain that when it doesn't work that the cause is a broken headlight switch or damaged wires leading to it. If the switch is ok then the alternative is the ignition needs to be replaced.
cranks but does not start. (50 ways to do that , there are)ever tune it up, and if not , why not?do the 60k service points yet? no?wet ,old intention is hopeless. all engines fail for (most) 3 basic ways, (caused by 50 details)1: bad engine. 2: bad spark3: bad fueling. (to much or too little) in that order.to find the cause we do 3 tests. 3 easy tests.from 1920 to today.do you have tools, and assuages, ? if no tools at all, then try the scotty way.http://www.youtube.com/user/scottykilmerhere is scotty no start vid.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=064Ilsz8Fzg&feature=player_detailpage#t=1
I doubt its a relay. The high blower relay only comes into play on the high setting. You have a 40amp fuse for the blower relay, then a 30amp fuse for the other speeds. The 30amp fuse powers the fan switch, when you turn it to high it activates the high speed relay. I would check for power at the blower motor on all speeds.
I have the same problem exactly, if i turn off the ignition and then turn it back on it begins blowing cold air again. I would like to know what the problen is as it sounds like it is not unique to just my vehicle.
If you mean a wheel speed sensor, it is near the hub bearing on the front wheels.Usually there is a speed sensor in the rear differential for the back wheels.
