I have a 2001 GMC sonoma 4.3 v6 that will not turn
Try another starter and also try turning the crank bolt with a ratchet and socket to make sure that the crank isn't frozen in place. Do not leave the keys in the car when doing so. You don't want anyone messing around in the truck when trying that!
Truck heating system changes from heat, defrost, and vent

How do you replace the rear u joint on a 99' gmc
Mark the driveshaft and yoke in a manner that will allow you to reassemble it in the same orientation that it's in now. This is done to avoid driveline vibrations. Next remove the 4 7/16" head bolts on the driveshaft yoke. Use a lone screw driver or pry bar to pop the driveshaft off the yoke and slide the other end out of the transmission. Using a u-joint tool press out the old u-joint and press in the new one. You could bring this to a machine shop or a mechanic and have them do it for you if you don't have the correct tools. I think autozone may rent a ball joint press out for free. Next reassemble it orientated the same way you took it off.

hate to be the one to ell ya this but sounds like you blew the head gasket.wait till cools see color of oil and then open ur radiator cap see if there oil in antifreeze or on your dipstick and see if it looks like a coffee milk shake.
Not wanting to Fire off when I first turn on Key.
try cycling the key once or twice[not cranking, but just turning to the "on" position. This may be warning signs that you will have future fuel pump problems. the fuel pump may need to prime before allowing your engine to start.
Changing antifreeze in a 2001 GMC sonoma
you can remove the lower radiator hose on the bottom of the radiator. **remember to let the vehicle cool before working on**, as coolant burns are very serious and difficult to remove quickly with water. make sure that you collect the old coolant, it will need to be disposed of properly [not into the ground] and take a water hose and place it inside the top of the radiator to flush the system . once the system appears to run clean of all coolant , replace the lower hose and refill as desired. once full, crank the vehicle with the radiator cap off and continue to fill. this will allow the water to flow and release any air pockets that may be in the system. once full and constant flow is assumed, replace the radiator cap .
