EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHT WON'T GO OFF

Not sure what model vehicle you have. Look at the emergency brake pedal, and see if it is supposed to hit a switch when the pedal is released - it may be the switch it out of adjustment and needs adjusted. Have someone watch the light while you run your finger along the entire length of the pedal to see if the light goes out when you hit the switch. This assumes the issue is mechanical.

Some whirling noises

suspect it is warped disc rotors. If the pedal pulsates under your foot on light braking I would take it to a brake shop for investigation of the fault. Any noise or unusual incidents with brakes can become critical if ignored.

Try different location on the clutch pedal to get it to start

If you look above the clutch pedal you should be able to see the operating switch, depress clutch pedal and see that there is clearane between the pedal and switch, It may be loose or require adjustment, the other option is to remove terminal block and bridge the terminals, this will delete the need for the switch and also the need to depress the pedal to start the motor, Regards Mike

if you have taken the plastic shield off the top of the engine, then you will see ignition coils mounted to the valve cover. the plugs are under the coils. if it is a 4 cylinder then you should see all of them, but if it is a V-6 then three are under the intake plenum. the plenum will need to be removed to change the back three plugs.

Cant find sparkplugs on mitsubshi

Not familar with your engine, but we get a lot of
those questions everyday

The answer is: you either never looked very hard
or have no idea that half of all vehicles today are hemi
head engines & the spark plugs are under the
individual coils, you have to remove first, to get to
the spark plugs.

Not a car person since you were a teen, then I
understand, you haven't keep up with technology

When I see problem with 2006 Mitsu I have no idea
how that got there

This is an open social web site or forum,at home, don't
get paid, don't know anymore than you do, about this site

So what problems if any are you having?
Changing spark plugs won't fix much
They get changed every 3 years or 60,000 miles in the motor

I would guess you have 100,000 miles by now, so the front
O2 Sensors should be changed also

Hello aislin87,

The total engine coolant capacity is 7.4 quarts.

Just changing the thermostat should not drain the entire system so you wont need that much.

The recommendation is above 30% but below 60% anti freeze to water to provide for proper freeze and anti-corrosion protection.

There is a bang in

Only 3 things can shift wide enough to generate the bang: the muffler, one of the supports for the shocks attached to the rear axle and the rear shaft's intermediate support. All 3 are attached to the body of the car with rubber bushings that have either aged and got loose or they failed all-together.
The only way to determine which is the cause is to get under the car and to start shaking the parts - either with your bare hand or with a small lever. The part that has too much play or on which the bushing is visibly damaged is the culprit - replace the damaged bushing.
