You can use the key on the trunk lock and turn it counter clockwise. (some countries may not have external trunk lock) If you can open the hood, you can connect the battery to the jumper points in the engine compartment and you should be able to use your remote key or the internal button. If you have a conversable, you can try using the cigarette lighter connection to supply power.

Get a DTC scanner and see what it says...in the meantime, check that fuel pump relay and fuel pump. The humming sound is probably the heater blower motor or part of the HVAC system winding down after disconnecting from power.

Was the aftermarket kit made in China? If so, that's probably your main problem!

it says 320 D is it a diesel need that information first .

make shore that your timing is 100% use correct cam locks(can be obtained from tool supplier) and crank lock pin (7mm Drill bit will work )There is a hole on the back of the engine(under the starter motor) usually has a plastic plug in it pull the plug out and turn motor over until fly wheal locks up make shore piston 1 is at tdc also make shore that the vibration damper (front pulley is not damaged or that the tooth gear on the pulley has moved
