2001 let blazer shut down while driving now it won't turn over
Are you saying it cranks good but won't start? If so, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Also, check for fuel injector pulse, engine cranking.
If your saying the starter won't even crank? Then make sure battery has a full charge and check wiring circuits at the starter. Any testing at the starter make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set.
How do i replace the idle air control valvel
look at your replacement unit, locate it on the throttle body, and observe its just a fastener removal off/on operation...Take note when you remove the old IAC, grab a rag and soak the tip of it with carb cleaner and clean out the bore where the IAC pintle resides. I also usually take a hint of whit lube and hit the "o" ring...after install, jump the ALDL and with KOEO, IAC should cycle...Good luck

I WOULD LAKE TO KNOW WHAT ECM B ON A 2001 BLAZER
Electronic Control Module
Here's how to reset the ECM after you've replaced the fuse.
1
Remove the nut from the negative battery cable using a socket set or wrench. Slide the cable off of the battery and set it aside.
2
Turn the headlight switch to the "On" position to drain the ECM of any remaining power. Wait at least 10 minutes, then turn it back to the "Off" position.
3
Replace the negative battery cable by reversing the previous steps. Tighten the nut until it feels secure, paying attention not to overtighten it. The ECM has now been reset
