OBD I or OBD II? can you communicate with the ECU? It could be something as simple as a bad ground, or the ECU might need replaced. Too many variables to make a correct diagnosis.

Does the engine crank but not start? Is the battery charged? Did you get a check engine light?

I would check the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor. If it still does it could be in the computer itself. Have it reset and see if that works. If the truck does not start now then I would check the timing belt / chain.

The EGR is typically put behind and under the air cleaner on the passenger side, it is between the distributor and the throttle body. The EGR is mounted to the intake manifold by two bolts and remove the rubber vacuum line.
Must use correct sealing gasket.

If its dripping from the Torque converter cover it probably needs a new front seal on the transmission. Gotta pull the tranny to replace the seal. Just make sure its not coming from above like where the tranny lines go into the transmission. sometimes a leak above will settle and drip at the lowest point.

check the wire for power, at back window. if it has power, the window grid for defroster maybe bad. if no power. check for a broken wire to back window. good-day!

Im guessing it's a 4.3 L engine. Sounds like your coil is acting up when the truck heats up. Bad coil, or small wires going to the coil

the wire colours for your truck will be different then the aftermarket radio
you will have to locate them and match the wires function and hook them up that way
step 1 - factory wire colours

You don't state which size engine you have. A wrecking yard can tell you, but a google search might also tell you.
