I have a Jimmy and the speedometer light doesn't come on when you turn the key on. Can't see how many miles is on it. How do I fix that

It might have a blown fuse or a burned out dashboard lightbulb. Check the fuses first.

I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy SLE 4WD. The oil pressure guage is running at 45 or 50 then drops to about 20. The engine is pecking like it isn't getting oil or its very low on oil but I have just changed it

disregard the oil pump and pick-up because if there were problems there you would not have oil pressure at all explain the term "pecking" and when it is occurring. Under acceleration ,at idle , driving normal, at speed.

How do I install this kit HW7321 Dorman E Brake hardware no instructions

Tough question. When faced with such I usually try to find an illustrated parts breakdown somewhere online. Some parts vendors have good pictures as part of their sales materials. Also possible that the dealer has a good picture, and they are usually willing to print you a copy.

Why won't my parking brake pedal stay down?

Most parking brake pedals work with a dog and pawl , much like a row of saw type teeth that have a small pivoting stop which catches in the teeth to lock down the pedal. If the pivot does not fully engage to teeth because of dirt or rust the pedal will return to its original position. This may also happen if the release cable in not fully returning. You can try pushing on the release handle rather than pulling and see if your pedal now locks in place. You can lube these parts with a can of spray lithium grease but be sure to protect your carpet and pedals so they do not get stained or become slippery. Mask areas off with newspaper or cardboard. Work the pedal and release cable a few times. It will usually free up any binding parts. I hope this helps!
