Why transmissin not going into drive
If the fluid level is correct then you have a failed transmission on your hands. It will need to be removed and rebuilt by a transmission repair shop.

Mercedes Benz W220 misfiring
Presumably you DID check the gaps in the spark plugs before you fitted them? If unsure, remove and: a) check the colour of the deposit (if any) on the plugs ... should be light brown, not black. b) adjust the gaps on the plugs - refer to manufacturer's recommendation. If all this seems to be OK, then test each spark plug lead. It's possible, though unlikely, that in removing the leads from the plugs that one or more has been damaged. Best of good luck!

Trunk malfunction
it is more than likely that the lock solenoid is not working,or the wires going to it are broken inside the trunk, also.alot of mercedes models have air operated locks that is controlled by a main box with air lines running to it .remove the liner on the left side of the trunk and take a look and make sure the vacuum lines are not pinched or broken.
