My heat will works sometimes; sometimes it will

The heater should work even when the thermostat is closed. You cannot hear the thermostat. It opens very slowly. If you hear bubbling noises, you probably have air in the system that needs to be bled out. You may also have a leak. Something you can try is to get some coolant, park on a hill, let the engine cool. Do not remove the radiator cap while the engine is hot. When it cools, add coolant with the engine running. This will help burp air out of the engine.

2003 Mitsubishi Galant electrical problem:

Check to make sure your body grounds are good at all points. Particularly from the battery to the body. If ground is good to the engine for starting it, and it runs, but the ground wire from battery to body is disconnected or dirty/corroded, then that would be your problem. There's not much as far as ground between motor and body because of rubber engine and transmission mounts. Try a jumper cable from ground to body at the clean metal of maybe the bumper. Unless of course the bumper is rubber. But test this with a jumper ground to body.

No, but it sounds like you need a good tune-up. If you can't do it yourself, take it to a good mechanic/repair facility.

Ok. I have a 2003 mitsubishi Galant. It has

When the car fails to start have a can of spray starting fluid handy, spray it into the engine's air intake and see if it starts and dies out, if so then you have fuel pressure problems, the most common cause of this type of scenario is a faulty fuel pump, the pump is located in the fuel tank the tank must be removed to replace the fuel pump. Rarely the problem is electrical like the fuel pump relay sticking closed.
