Reset air temperature sensor on 2002 bravada

Instructions 1 Shut off the engine of your Bravada, remove the keys from the ignition, and open the hood. 2 Locate the plug that powers the outdoor sensor. You will find it in between the front bumper and frame of the car, just to the right of the rightmost support bracket. The sensor plug is green. 3 Unplug the outdoor temperature sensor by separating the plug from its socket. 4 Plug the sensor back in, close the hood, and start the car. If the sensor's performance has not changed, it will need to be replaced. Read more : http://www.ehow.com/how_7982496_reset-bravada-outdoor-temperature-sensor.html

Why am I having problems starting my Bravada. There is power, the started worksb, but when I turn the key nothing happens. All the dash board lights come on but no starter engagement?

do the dashboard lights go out when key turned to start? when you say nothing happens,is there a click? does the motor turn over, but not fire? is it an automatic, meaning is the gear inhibitor switch preventing starter from working?have you tried a jumper battery?putting a jumper lead from the battery earth to the engine ground helps sometimes,if earthing cables broken

Bravada coil

The GM products such as the olds bravada has a problem with oil getting into spark plug area where the coil pack is bolted down, the coil pack and plug are emerced in oil and causing the coil pack to misfire..to check this have the codes read to determine what coil pack it is..and remove it by removing the bolt holding it in place..if there is oil it will be right there to the top in many cases. Take a paper towel or something to sponge the oil out and clean the spark plug connector, no need to remove the plug and replace the coilpak with a new one...this is a problem but not real serious..suggest removing the other good coils and clean the plug area and plug Then replace the good ones..or if you wish replace with new...oil is from valve/cam shaft cover gaskets bad or loose..you can try and tighten the securement bolts or have a garage mechanic take a look...good luck

How do I determine if my air suspension compressor is failing

Most likely it is a sensor for the height of the suspension. Located at the rear end. Any arm going from the differential case to the frame. The sensor is connected to it.

I need to change my spark plugs on my 2002 olds

the easiest way to get at them is through the wheel wells. Jack up the side of the vehicle you want to change plugs on to gain some extra clearance in the wheel well area. Remove the inner fender liner (floppy rubber part held to the inner fender with the plastic retainers). You will then be able to see the spark plugs/wires. a spark plug socket, swivel, extension, and ratchet will make the job go by quickly.

The middle cylinder on the drivers side can be a real bear since the steering shaft runs right in front of it. They make a spark plug socket just for this cylinder or you can use a regular spark plug socket, a short wrench, and a pry bar to get it to break loose.

If your not familiar with changing plugs I would not attempt number 5 yourself (the one behind the steering shaft). You could easily break it and end up in a pickle!

Other wise do them one at a time making sure to put the plug wire back on as soon as the new plug is installed to avoid mixing them up.

Good luck. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

3rd brake light not working

If you get an oil change a good shop will ask you if you want your bulbs replaced. Or you could ask them when you get it done. They'll charge you about $10 or replace yourself for about $5.

How do i release air from the rear shocks in a 2002 bravada, the car it sitting up very high in the rear and there is no bounce at all when hitting bumps in the road

Try going under the vehicle the sir pump is located in the rear wheel area.it has an activating lever..when the it detects weight the frame makes contact with it and the pump comes on..when the weight is removed the frame releases the lever..sounds like it may be stuck in the heavy weight position..try moving it by hand..if it moves but does not release the air the activator is bad..and needs checked...don't suggest disconnecting the hose..it will ride way to low and effect the ride control.. Good luck
