You have bigger problems than broken switch. You better contact the executor of the estate before you do further " damage".

P1174 - Fuel trim adaptive malfunction (Bank 1)

They're not shocks they're struts. It requires spring compressors and air impact tools.


Unless you have them and the know how how to compress strut springs. don't do it. It can be dangerous.

It's why it's a lot of money to have it done.

can i just alter my headlight on my z3, by the adjusters on the back of the headlights. i want to switch from right hand beam to left in france,

It is most likely a faulty sensor, you will need to scan it with diagnostic tool to help find problem

On some BMW's of this vintage, lifting the handle would actuate the heated locks. So there was a microswitch on the handle itself. There's also a switch on the door jam -- part of the striker plate, at least on my E36.

The S/No is you serial number it is asking for. Try putting the S/N in the internet and see if that radio comes up with solutions. Otherwise take it to a dealer. For that I think they would have an answer for you as to how to fix it free of charge.

what bushings are you referring to. engine or suspension and which ones.

Bushels or Bushings? A bushel is a weight of measure for things like grain or apples. Bushings are typically used to cushion suspension and steering components. Worn bushings will create noise when turning or going over bumps and reduce precision of suspension. Depending on wear, initially not dangerous but should be dealt with before they get too bad.

Hi Cheryllyn: I'm not familiar with the term "radiator plug" but anything to do with radiator and blew does not sound good. What happened when you tried topping up? When you try to turn the engine over, what happens? Is there a clicking sound? Any action from the started? Is the battery OK? I'm thinking that what you are potentially dealing with will require some qualified mechanical expertise. My suggestion? Contact your favorite mechanic. Best of luck.

Not saying much to help. There can be numerous causes and when it's overheating makes a difference.

First try lubricating locks with powdered graphite. Avoid ALL liquid lock lubricants. Then work locks through all positions from passenger door. (single lock positions & double lock position) Lastly operate locks via boot lock.

vacuum leak, two ccv's replace those....if not, the vacuum leak could be anywhere, valve cover gasket, intake manifold, any one of 30 vacuum lines...

check resistor pack for the fan motor.
