There may be a plug at the bottom of the rear hatch trim panel (on the inside of the car). You can remove the plug and stick a flat-bladed screwdriver in the hole to release the latch. Try a different size screwdriver if the one you use just spins. The latch has a square hole you are trying to release.

My tube broke several years ago. The original tube is longer than the replacement. Evidently the GM was unable to make a long tube that would not break. You have a long tube if the input of the EGR (where the tube connects) is higher than the output (where the EGR connects to the intake manifold). If you have the longer tube, you must purchase a replacement from GM which is $200 and includes the short tube, new design EGR valve and a new connector to replace the old EGR electrical connector.

You probably have daytime running lights - when you do this during daylight hours, only the front running lights will come on. If at night, regular headlights and tail lights will come on. If this is not the case, you will have a problem with the headlight control module.

could the sensor be the problem ????? Anything is possible , but we don't guess , we test . If you don't know how to test automotive electrical circuits , Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop .

There is a recall on drl on canadian made equinox ,torrent, and saturn vue dealer will replace recall number is 08050 i'd talk to a dealer. hope this helps.

The adjustment of the brake light switch or it could be bad. the brake lights can work fine and the part of the switch that works the cruise doesn't The swiches that control it from the steering wheel can losse connection in a part called the clock spring. Vacume connections can effect the cruise but yours is likly cables less therefore doesn't work the cruize.

Sounds like your window switch (the thing you touch to make it work) is worn. The connection at the window motor is easy enough to test since it's typically only got a power and a ground wire, this would tell you if power is being sent by the switch to the motor. I say all of this because I'm assuming it's your driver's door with the master switch; if not, the others are usually interchangeable and you can borrow one from another door for testing purpises.
