There are too many variable to give accurate advice without more detail... Does the the starter crank the engine but it doesn't start and run? Does it start the shut off? Does it not crank at all or crank slowly? With the security light on it is likely a theft system problem, Try a different key if you have an extra, you can also try disconnecting the car's battery for about ten minutes, reconnecting a try starting it (make sure the battery is well charged). This works only sometimes on some vehicles, it may not work but it is simple to try. if the about do not work you'll need a professional with a scanner capable of getting into all the modules on the car, a basic OBD scanner will not work. good luck! Are you using a valet key? It requires the factory key that has a chip in it that the vehicle security system can identify. Anything else will not defeat the security system. And sometimes, the security system must be reset via the dealer's scan tool and access codes only they have. Sorry I couldn't be more help

YES if you look around you'll find a drain plug repair kit ,its a common problem but there's hope ,a universal fit repair kit ,and with a little knowhow most can do it in about an hour after you fully drain oil ,my question is why the people who did the damage are not paying for all the repairs ? if that's not an option then go with repair kit. hope this helped you ,good luck. You can purchase universal drain plugs at about any parts store that are designed to repair stripped out pans. They have a bar with a nut that fits into your drain hole and a plug seal that fit around the drain hole. This is the cheapest way to permanantly fix your problem.
