Needing to know why my Yukon's gauges stopped working.

You need to replace cluster, 99-02 Silverado GMC all will work even if it has a trans temp truck is pre wired for it. I put a 02 Denali cluster in my 01 silverado no problems. GM can reprogram hours and odometer if you want.

This C code is what is designated as a Chassis code . The specifc code is a generic and means

C0281 - Brake Switch Circuit:

It indicates a problem with the brake lamp circuit. Inspect the switch and circuit.

Code C0281 is set if computer never sees the brake switch release after speeds above 15 mph during start-up.

Hello,have 2000 yukon.to change battery,is there

Just make sure that all your electrical components are turned off, such as your radio and lights. Some of the newer vehicles can be damaged if those items are left in the on position. It's a costly mistake. After that, same as older vehicles.

My 2000 GMC Yukon 2WD's heater fan now will only

There is a resistor down below the blower fan on the inside firewall of the passenger side. Advance or Auto-zone carry them and they are not hard to replace or very expensive. You will have to have a small socket though. I am not sure it is a 6 or 8mm.

You will see a long plug about an inch and a half that goes into it. When they burn out you only get high as a default.

Hope this helps.

Your catylatic converter may be clogged if your loosing power or top speed is less than it was. You can check this when its running with a battery operated infared heat gauge. the temperature of the muffler should be around the same temp. as the catylatic converter.

How do I remove the passenger side interior rear

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to get to everything.

Have worked on quite a few of these and have never seen issue with calipers. I do know that you sometimes have to hunt parts for a Tahoe instead of a Yukon to get the correct ones.

2000 Yukon driving on highway at normal spped and

It sounds like your fuel filter has got to the end of it's life and needs to be replaced. Once the fuel filter get's to dirty, the fuel pump can no longer keep the proper fuel pressure to the fuel injectors to have them work properly. The fuel filter should be replaced once a year or 30,000 miles to ensure that it's always clean. A dirty fuel filter will make the fuel pump work harder and shorten it's life time causing a costly fuel sending unit replacement. Good luck and be safe.
