Mitsubishi Pajero 99 model Escape edition

Hi:
Your car could have a easy fix needed, such as a heater hose or such, but you could really cause yourself some serious engine damage if you drive it too far and overheat it. If it is really leaking bad, I would not drive it more than 5 minutes, so if your mechanic is farther than that away, have it towed in.

I have a Mit. Montero Sport 1999

Your code is 4886.

Use preset button 1 to scroll through the first digit, preset button 2 for the second digit, etc.

Once the correct code is displayed, push the unlock button to unlock the radio. The unlock button varies between models, but it is always either CD, AM/FM, or TAPE. There is no penalty for pushing the wrong one as long as your code is correct.

Acceleration issue, not accepting new plug, cold start issue

If it is not starting when cold, it is usually the temp sensor's faulty. If the plug is not going in to the cylinder, then the threads may have gotten stripped or have swollen up after removal and you may have to rethread hole. If two cylinders are firing differently then the 2 other cylinders, then either the coil packs or module, and lastly cranks sensor would be at fault.

My 1999 montero sport reves and then will not run .

Sounds like your idle air control valve is bad.  This valve, like it sounds, controls the idle on your vehicle and from what you make it sound like you are having idle issues.  As far as if it is worth fixing, I would say yes because it is a easy fix.  Not sure what engine you have so I can't look up the exact cost but you can check it out on AutoZone.com.  The IAC is located on your throttle body and is pretty easy to change out.  Let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

If you have check engine light, it could be Accelerator position sensor 1, apc 2, tps1, tps,2. If you dont have MIL could be Air flow meter. Also there is actually 3 small filters in the gdi pump not 2.

Condensate blown out of the AC vents in front of passenger seat

U need to crawl under the car and clear the ac condensate drain, it is a rubber pipe on the passenger side that sticks out of the bottom of the engine firewall, they get clogged and water builds up in the ac and this problem happens.
