What it seems you are experiencing is LOCK OUT, this is to prevent thieves from loading as many codes in to hopefully find correct one.
Have you tried leaving the set disconnected from the power( i.e. remove battery supply) overnight as then it should revert to the 3 tries again.

Check Linkage for the 4WD transfer case, between the shifter and the case. if it is a direct case mounted shifter, you may need to remove it and check for obstruction.

Have you tried to shift it to 4H while at a slow roll in N? Sometimes that used to work for me in my older floor mount 4WD truck. Give it try!

under the brake pedal there is a switch it may have become disconnected or cheak your relay switches

Yes the plastic e cap should pop off and teh six lug nuts or bolts will come off

check that the 4 bolts that hold the column in are tight if they are move the steering wheel up and down whilst looking at the universal joint at the bottom of the column it may be flogged out ( if so you may be able to get a new one) ( the uni can be situated in side the car or out depending on the set up so you may need to get a friend to move the wheel will you crawl under the car and have a look)

if none of the above fix the problem it may be as simple as the bush in the upper section of the column has collapsed if this is the case you can normaly get new ones althoughit is easyer to just get a second hand collum

Has the thermostat been opening up? That could be why it is overheating if the thermostat is still.

Have you check the driv aksel on left and right side, if you have a bad drive shaft , you shall hear a noise specily if you turn the steering to full right ore left. And so can you check the drive shaft betwen the aksel and the reduction gearbox.Have you check the oil in the front diff , if the are metall partikel in the oil? if the are mettal partickle in the oil , you must check the diff

Looks like your Idle Speed Control Servo is playing up. It's a device that controls your idling speed and any load compensation on the engine as well (raising the idle speed when turning the steering, whern turning your lights on...etc). A visit to the dealer should confirm the fault as they can plug in the diagnosis machine to check the proper operation of it. Let us know how you get on. Cheers.

the fuel pump in the front by the injectors has 2 small filters in the petrol inlet and outlet. You cannot see them they are inside the 2 brass surrounds. Remove them and you may be in luck.
Had the same problem for 1 year and now everything is fine

I solve this problem with Mitshubishi Pajero GDI 6G74 like this: remove the two little filters from the high pressure pump and ,if necessary, insert a external gasoline filter.

did you purge the air from the fuel system, or try to start it with ether? you may want to check the timing again if no fuel is being supplied to the engine.

The main difference between the two models is that the V98 has a built-in reservoir, while the V93 does not. Aside from that, they are functionally identical. Low battery state is my guess. Check resting voltage at the battery connectors, (rather than the the lead battery terminals) to rule out or ascertain corrosion between battery and connecting terminal.. You can also connect a high end scan tool computer and investigate alarm faults.

Replace fuel filters and check fuel pump pressure.

weak or failing fuel pump
