You should be able to grab it firmly from the bottom-front-center of the seat, slightly yanking both forward and up, it should pop right off.

I would have that starter tested. It could be intermittently engaging and disengaging. This can happen to the starter drive. I`m not sure why it cuts out after you jump start it,since the alternator takes over after cranking the engine. Unless the starter drive is sticking. My other thoughts are on a fuel pump problem.Or fuel problem period such as an obstruction of gas getting to the engine. Fuel filter maybe or fuel pump relay!

The ignition coil. Isn't the coil for 1 and 4 the same coil in the coil pack? One way to check is to swap that coil with another in the coil pack, and see if the misfire follows the suspect coil.

I suspect that the ECU is having problems, specifically leaking electrolytic capacitors on the circuit board. These caps can cause a short circuit to ground (which may cause the radio issue) and then leak electrolyte all over the board. The ECU cannot control the engine properly when this happens. Pull the ECU out, open the can and look at the board. Caps may be bulging or leaking, may be a fishy smell. There's a company in Florida (?) that does Mitsu (and other Japanese) ECU rebuilds for about $200 with a guarantee. Google search them. Check all the ground points from the engine, harness to the firewall (loosen and tighten the bolts/nuts). May also be the MPI relay that controls power to the ECU and the fuel pump. It's a big can near the ECU.

Disconnect your battery.. Make sure everything is off and You have battery charged.. Then just slightly attempt to re connect battery.. If you get a big spark then something is draining your battery, If little spark then replace your battery.

Check your engine coils

Unplug your battery for a few minutes.

It is not the TCM, it is a failed transmission.

It will reset or clear if the problem is fixed

your best bet is taking the details of the car like vin/chassis number to your nearest dealer, most codes like key, ignition, radio code, etc are stored in their system databases.
