My 02 Chevy express van's ignition coil is

Yes you should be able to replace the coil yourself.Just remove the engine cover.Disconnect the electrical connectors from the coil. There are only 2 10mm bolts that hold the bracket down. The ignition control module is also on this bracket.Just drill out the rivets from the coil and install the new one.The new coil will have bolts instead of rivets.Remove the coil wire from the old coil.Make sure and add die electric grease to the coil wire.It will be included with the coil.Hope this helps.Good luck.

How to replace a oil pump

Probably a 3 out of 5 on my diy difficulty scale, here goes: 1 remove negative battery cable 2 raise and support the van on jack stands 3 remove the motor mount bolts from both sides( do not worry the engine will not fall on you) 4 remove the oil pan retaining bolts 5 unplug oil level sensor if equipped 6 bump oil pan with a RUBBER mallet to break the gasket seal 7 remove oil pan, you might have to raise the engine with a jack placed under the front pulley, use a block of wood to avoid marring the pulley, and raise the engine just enough to allow the oil pan to slip out. 8 remove the oil pump retaining bolt and allow the pump to come straight down. 9 you will have to re use the intermediate shaft, the collar that holds it on will most likely break when you try to remove it, you can get a new one, it will probably come with the new oil pump. You can reuse the oil pump pickup tube, but it is cheap insurance to replace it. reassemble in reverse order, pay attention to the oil pan gasket, be careful and get the corners in correctly, extra time spent here will prevent a leak later.

Egg smell and runs rough

your catalytic converter is beginning to plug up in the exhaust system, also this has richened the fuel mixture and ruined the 02 sensor, you can replace these, but then you need to be able to clear the engine fault codes so it doesnt do this again, and you will probably need to go to a dealer for this process after you replace the above mentioned components

Driver side door on 1995 chevy express van will

Chances are the door latch has closed without the door being closed.

Inspect the latch mechanism on the door. I suspect you will find that the latch is in the closed position.

Use a screw driver to take place of the normal jam pin in the latch apply tension ( like the tension that would be present normally opening the door) and actuate the door handle.

Make sure to lubricate once you do get the latch to open.

The ground wire in the right rear light brake

Your easiest solution would be to pick up a new socket and some blue heat shrinkable **** connectors and then replace the whole thing, just cut and join one wire at a time and you will be fine.

Where is the washer pump on a 1999 chevy express

It is on the bottom of the washer bottle. It come out the top.If you can get to the connector.Remove it and have someone push the wash switch.Hook up a test light to a good ground and check for power at the A terminal. This is a red wire.If the light comes on the the pump is bad.To replace it you have to remove the master cylinder.Do not disconnect the pipes.Just remove the 2 bolts and set it aside. Then remove the washer bottle.Disconnect the hose and remove and replace the pump.It is easier when the bottle is empty or very low.Hope this helps.Good luck.
