Changed the fuel filter now car won't start.

Double check your work. They put fuel caps on the ends or inside the filter. Is the filter on the correct way? Filters have arrows for flow. Take the filter back off and make sure the arrow flows toward the engine.

2006 colbat dome light will not work

Are you saying that the dome light doesn't work when opening the door? Or when using the dash dimmer control to activate it? Or both? There is a position on the dimmer control of most vehicles to disable the dome light. Verify that you don't have it in that position. It is normally at the opposite end of the dimmer rotation from the position that turns the dome light on. If the light doesn't work from either the dimmer or the door switch, check the bulb. They do burn out. If you replace it, do not touch the glass of the new bulb directly when installing. They get very hot and the oils on your fingers will cause premature failure. If everything seems ok (dimmer/door switch/bulb), check for a blown fuse. Otherwise the problem is in the car wiring.

New starter new altinator new battery smell a electral a little bit the battery light turns on and check system light comes on

Have the alternator output tested for any over / under voltage at any AutoZone type place. I might next look at the voltage regulator. Also, make sure all your alternator, battery and ground terminals are clean and with good contact. Do those simple things first. A smell suggests the possibility of a short somewhere so that testing gets more elaborate.

I have a 2006 Chevy cobalt and it wont take gas, it don't want to idle. It misses when you give it any gas or idling. I noticed that my check engine light started flashing. What can be the issue?

First step is to get the computer codes read. Your local auto parts dealer may read the codes for you at no cost. Once we have the codes, we can advise you further.

Can an aftermarket key fob be programmed with a cool start system?

If you bought from them it can. Manufacturers will let after market fob's be learned in the system. I have never been able to program an aftermarket fob to an aftermarket system. Not even with a scanner.

The front suspension needs a lot of work. There is a lot of noises coming from the front end. My understanding is that this is common for a cobalt.

brakes and rotors will not cause noise unless they are badly worn and this will be evident on inspection most noise will be from rubber suspension bushes and sway bar and shocky rubbers I would suggest that you get quotes from suspension accredited shops and have each shop show you what is worn and what is ok ON good roads ( hard surface) suspension units should last 60.000 miles before requiring repairs ( barring road damage)
