Locate your fuel filter, it's underneath follow the fuel line from the tank, disconnect the line coming from the tank at the filter. Turn the ignition on(no need to crank it). If fuel comes out? Your fuel pump is good. Reconnect the line, and disconnect the line on the other side of the filter. Turn the ignition on, if you don't get fuel? Then you have a bad filter. If you DO have fuel? Check for fuel at the fuel bar manifold going into the injectors. It will look like a tire fill valve. Also check the ignition coil make sure you are getting power to the distributor. You need to check you have fuel being delivered to the fuel rail or filter outlet. If this ok then you need to check you have spark at the spark plugs.
If these are all ok then it is possible that if your vehicle has done over 120,000 km that your cambelt has broken and you will need to replace this.
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks
