Mitsubishi 3L V6 engine knocking.

The knocking noise has to be a deep knocking noise if its the crank bearings . If the oil is very gooey the oil was never changed properly at the mileage or months as required. Also if the oil is thick as you state it must have 15,000 miles or more on this oil. 10,000 miles the oil will still be thin if never overheated. I suggest this engine be completely disassembled and inspected if you plan to keep it. You will find wear to more to it especially the cam shaft, lifters, rocker arm as so on. for the oil never lubricated the engine enough to save this engine

1995 Mitsubishi Diamante is overheating. Oil

something is strange here thats for sure ,firstly take thermostat out and put it in a saucepan of water and boil it to see if opens .,check the oil light switch and pull the rubber boot cover back to see if any oil is behind it ??.-You are buying trouble with a car with such a high mileage on it ,never buy anything with more than 50,000 miles or you are just buying someones rubbish

1995 mitsubishi fuel pump replacement

You'll need to remove the fuel tank, disconnect the fuel lines, becare not to move the lines around too much so as not to break them from where they connect to the assembly, and I believe the fuel pump assembly is held in with 3 or 5 screws, remove the screws and unplug the connectors and reverse the procedure.

My car cut off while i was driving....i have a new

that is a simple fix to the problem you are having, even though you have a new batt. and ing. coil, the problem your having is your altenator, it is commen for them to go out over time, that is why your car died or cut off as you said while you were driving, if your ALT. goes out your car will start and act normal until your batt. is drained out then your car will die while driving, if theres no power to your computer on your car it wont run basicly like a hard shut down, but of your car....hope this helps

Neutral light on magna th

Hi there,

The Diamante has an intelligent auto transmission.

When the "N" light flashes on your instrument panel, it means the onboard computer has detected an abnormaility within the automatic transmission.

If I remember correctly, the frequency of the flashing "N" denotes two possibilities:

a) 1 flash per second = Transmission fault:

You will need to have the fault codes extracted from the vehicle's computer, to determine the area of your transmission which is at fault.

b) 2 flashes per second = overheated transmission

Pull over and allow the engine to idle for 2-3 mins, while in PARK (this will aid the transmission fluid to flow throughout and help to cool the trans fluid down a little). You will need to have the fluid inspected and possibly the fluid temp sensor also.

Cheers,

How to change radio

Best thing to do is go talk to the radio guys a best buy or local radio shop. They give you a few pointer like:

Do you need a custom key to remove the face plate fords and dodges usually require a key 3 bucks
You need a mounting box that fits the car and new radio 12 bucks
You need a wring harness connector this keeps you from having to splice all of the connections

Once you have your gear its a breeze you'll be in and ou in a hour. Miss a part and its going to be a mess. Prep work is key.
