check to see if the fuel filter is not cloged. It's located to right under the washer plastic bottle to the right.
Check aslo the fuel pump wich is in the gas tank, no access unless you remove the tank.

I'd suggest Castrol or Valvoline 10w30 conventional and add a bottle of stp oil treatment at every 3k mile oil change

Viscosity is not going to fix your leak. Tell me where approximately the leak is coming from and I can try to help you fix it.

remove the glove box, possibly the dash board and take it out from the inside of the cars cabin - you will have other things to do like drain coolant, etc., etc..

Get a haynes or chiltons repair manual (also available to take out from your local library for free 0 but call ahead to be sure it is there first! that will give you complete step by step diy -- also chiltons is more detailed

it sounds like it could be a blown fuse check fuse board

I'm assuming that both planetary shafts - the ones that connect the differential on the gearbox to the wheels - are intact and working correctly. If you need to check them just put the gearbox in Park, lift one of the front wheels and try to turn it - it shouldn't move.
Then the transmission has failed completely. The only thing you can check without dismantling the entire gearbox is the level of the transmission oil and its status - you will probably have to replace it and its filter. If the oil is ok then a visit to a repair shop will be mandatory and expensive. Replacing the entire gearbox with a second-hand one from a breakers yard will be cheaper than fixing it.

Ignition timing is 5 degrees before top dead center.

this is what we call a zero clearance engine, and if it breaks, will bend valves in cyl head.
water pump needs to be done about same, depending on heavy use of the car.

Doe it start bucking at around 10mph and smooth out after 20mph?

could be the fluid. if the clutch was worn out it would be doing the opposite of sticking. is the clutch pedal easier to push than normally?

Tranny is auto or manual?

You could try adjusting the idleing screw. It should be at the end of the air intake were it mounts to the throttle body. If possible get a Haynes repair manual for your car at the nearest auto parts store it will show you exactly where it is located.

This is a problem with the combination switch...the stalk.....you will need to get one from a wrecker or spare parts supplier...it is fairly easy to replace....you will need to to take off the steering wheel and plastic surround covers to reveal...but it is an easy 30 minute job....
