Tune up items, worn valve guide seals, vacuum leak, dirty EGR or IAC, clogged cat converter just to name a few.

Get a wiring diagram and work through it. Be mindful of the grounds as well.

Any time you run an engine dry of oil you take the chance of it freezing up. I think now you may have a major problem with your motor. Scorched cylinder walls, bent rods or several other things. Take it to a mechanic and see what he finds. Since it is a 2002 it may not pay to repair.

Look more closely at the 1 and 4 coil, also, check for trigger signal to these coils. I mostly suspect the trigger unit.

Its common for this to happen if you have high millage, change the coil packs that should fix the problem

When last you change your transmission fluids? do a tune up and see if that fixes the problem.

go on line type in camshaft position sensor and open up the utube film of where it is and how to do it. Normally position sensors are not near the distributor as they have a specific setting and read the cam position to adjust the variable valve solenoid .

does the car crank or no crank?

when the abs light comes on your anti-lock brakes will not work. the car is still safe to drive. you may have a bad wheel sensor. the tcl light is traction control. Advance auto or autozone can scan your car for free if they have the right tool. good luck

you have to check spark from the plug....step1 pull out one of the plug wire step2 put one spark plug into the plug wire. step3- clip the plug body with jumper cable and the other to the negative(-)terminal step4 start the car and see if there is strong spark on the tip of the plug

Fuel pump relay, Check cam and crank position sensors first then ECU last. See if you are getting spark.

I assume this noise is there regardless if in A/C mode or heat? I had a similiar issue in my 01 camry. Speed 1 was ok speed to you could hear a difference speeds three an four sounded like it was going to shake my dash apart. Of course it could be possible some kind of object has fallen through a vent causing the fan to rotate off balance. However, in my situation a mouse had got in the heater fan and built a nest overnight. This created the loud horrible vibration in my unit. If something is not causing it to be off balance it probably isnt going to last much longer. I think it could only be the bearings in motor housing going bad or are already bad. Hope this helps.

I did look it up and found nothing , if indeed it is tilt wheel it must be some where on or around steering wheel left side right side or under steering wheel.
