My 2004 Galant won't start. It turns over, but will not start. Someone said it sounds like the starter...any ideas??

If it turns over its a fuel issue, pump, filter ect...my 07 turns over and will only start after 3-4 trys, no codes at all, so im thinking fuel filter is clogged but its located in the pump which is in the tank so I have to drop the whole tank and replace both

TCL and Anti Lock brake light come on when sitting

Interesting problem, especially since its been happening since the car was new. Researching this I found one suggestion that a front wheel bearing is in backwards, and this causes the ABS wheel sensor to read incorrectly until the TCL/ABS computers calibrate themselves. This is an odd suggestion, as the wheel bearing and hub are an integral assembly. A part photo shows a "normal" looking bearing that only fits one way. A bearing installation problem is not impossible however. There could be dirt/road debris on the sensor, the sensor could be slightly misplaced, or faulty. The TCL/ABS computers read the signals from the wheel sensors, and has diagnostic outputs, which should include indications of poor or missing data streams from all four wheel sensors. This is the first step to finding a solution. If the TCL/ABS computers are reporting errors from one wheel, then that wheel has to be disassembled to see what's the cause.

Abs and traction control lamps coming on on dash

If the sensor didn't fix the problem, then it's most likely a wiring harness issue. A bad sensor/harness will turn off the ABS & traction control and turn on both ABS and Traction lights. time to troubleshoot the wiring harness for continuity/short between the sensor and the computer.

First engine light came on due to missing gas cap. put gas cap on and reset message. after filling up vehicle the engine startied became sluggish. took in and was told oygen sensor was a problem. r

next time take it to a accredited professional shop that will read the fault codes first before advising you on what has to be replaced and not just guessing the problem

I have a 04 Mitsubishi Galant that recently died I put in a code reader an camshaft sensor popped up I also know alternator is bad I replaced it and the car still won't start what could be wrong?

What was the code number? Could a circuit code. Could be no sensor return code. Problems would be sensor, wiring, PCM, or broken cam/crank belt.

Replaced the fuel pump for my 2004 Mitsub.Galant, checked the relays in fuse box(inside) not sure where any others may be. car cut off while driving down the road and hasnt started since.

Have you checked the fuel pressure, are you sure the pump is the issue? Have you run a fault code test on the engine control unit for fault codes? If not do that.

compression test cyclinder may have cracked head or warped head .I think that car has an Astron motor from my memory which has an alloy head that can warp or crack if the engine has been overheated ?

Were is my security system located at in my 2004 Mitsubishi Galant

It is integrated in your entire electrical system of your vehicle. the only way to bypass is to get an aftermarket alarm with a bypass module which will require an additional ignition key (which is inserted into the bypass module).

Try putting another CD in the slot. Sometimes it will help push the stuck one out. Why does the EJECT button not work for you?

2004 Mitsubishi Galant I want to know if my engine if they are in interference my tummy bell broke

OK, you want to know if the 2004 Galant is an interference engine, because of a broken timing belt. Your car has the 2.4L engine, and its not quite an interference engine, but its very close. A broken belt MIGHT not have damaged valves when the belt failed. Your garage should be able to look at the valve gear and see if any valves are jammed. It's also possible to look in each cylinder with an endoscope camera for any valve damage. A new belt can be fitted, and the engine turned over to test compression. If there are problems spotted, then the head has to come off and the the damaged valves replaced.
